I started seriously stamping about 15 years ago when my neighbor invited me to a Stampin’ UP! workshop. It was her first workshop as a demonstrator. I had prior commitments that evening, but wanted to be supportive, so got there late, expected to say, “Good luck” and leave early. I had bought stamps before at the local hobby stores and been disappointed. Since hobby stores and crafts are a way of life with me, I was sure I didn’t need anything else to be creative!
Instead, I fell in love! I saw a chance to be creative in a small, portable way! Colors that coordinated, paper and ink that matched exactly. Stamps in sets that were designed to go together! I was hooked and signed up the next day. It has been a terrific ride. I’ve built my supplies, learned numerous new techniques, made lots of friends and am ready to share my ideas with you.
I strongly hold to the CASE (Copy and Share Everything) idea, and want you to feel free to do this also. However, I also believe in giving credit where it’s due and expect you to do the same. CASE-ing for your own use is expected, please do not CASE for re-sell under your name. This is my business, please be respectful.
In addition to stamping, I also like to sew and quilt and you’ll see pages here of items I’ve made and/or designed. Sometimes you’ll see other craft projects and instructions. Come hang out anytime.
