This is a stamp set, Nailed It!, that includes the “Happy Father’s Day” sentiment. Since my father died, I haven’t wanted any of these sets – I’ve just tried to ignore Father’s Day! Not easy, I know, and I’m getting over it – don’t judge me!
HOWEVER! I had to have this set after seeing some of the cards created with it on some Demonstrator Sites I’m on. It comes with it’s own Framelit set –called Build it!– also. I love making 3-D items without all that fussy cutting!
THEN….. my neighbor fixed my fence gate a few weeks ago and yesterday he fixed the toilet! My husband has been in immense pain for a couple of months, and had surgery Thursday so has been unable to do these things. THIS CARD is for my neighbor. The sentiment comes from the Suite Sayings stamp set. I can think of a lot of sentiments to use with these tools!
Since most tools have shades of gray, I used the Smokey Slate card stock to stamp the images onto and then used the Framelits and Big Shot to cut them out. I then used Stampin’ Up!’s new Watercolor Pencils to color the handles. These Watercolor Pencils are great! They color smoothly and well as well as “mix” as you use them. I’m sure you’ll see more of them!
